I’ve been working behind the scenes to create two Make-Your-Own-Website Workshops. Each one uses Divi Theme and WordPress to create a professional website that you can use for your business. And while they’re being released in similar timeframes, they’re a little different. So, I wanted to give you a side-by-side comparison so you’ll know which one is best for you.
A Quick Overview of the Two DIY Website Workshops
There are two Make-Your-Own-Website Workshops. The Live Intensive Workshop is just that. It’s a live workshop that will be held over Zoom. It is intense. It is a deep dive into website development using modern tools. We’ll meet twice a week for four weeks so that we can be done before the Holidays.
The Firefly Edition is a self-paced video course that is designed with business owners in mind. It is a quick win. You’ll be building one website for your own business using a template. It will be very focused on getting something built quickly. This is perfect for busy entrepreneurs who want to have a website, but don’t have a desire to make a bunch of websites for clients.
Depth of Information Covered in Make-Your-Own-Website Workshops
While each workshop will help you as you build a website, the depth of information covered is much different. The Firefly Edition of the Make-Your-Own-Website Workshop is meant to be a quick, focused experience. It will give just enough information to get you to the finish line quickly.
The Intensive Live Workshop is meant to give a much deeper understanding of setting up a website, creating custom layouts, the process of converting their target audience to paying customers, and more. This is a business course designed for people who want to gain web development skills to create websites for their own clients, or make their own custom landing pages, email funnels, and more for their own business. It’s great for coaches, creators, business owners, virtual assistants, and people whose offers change over time.
Pace of Make-Your-Own-Website Workshops
The pace of the two workshops is also very different. The Intensive is designed to move quickly. We will meet twice a week for four weeks to cover as much information as we can in a very short time. Sometimes it’s nice to know that you’ll be pushing hard for a little while, and then it’ll be done.
The Firefly Edition is a self-paced workshop. You can go at your own pace. If you have time to buckle down and work hard, you can do as much as you want. If you’re busy and need to set it aside for a bit, it’ll be there when you have time to come back to it.
Outcome of the Workshops
Each workshop is designed to give you a beautiful, fully functioning website for your business at the end of the workshop. In addition, the Intensive Workshop is going to give you a deeper understanding of the skills you need to be able to repeat the process again and again.
